Drury junior catcher/infielder Sadie Ball was named to the First Team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference softball team as a utility player and junior third baseman Stephanie Ray was a Third Team choice as the league released its honors late Wednesday night.

Ball, from Wichita, Kan., led the Panthers with a .388 batting average, 64 hits and 25 stolen bases and was second on the squad in homers (9) and RBIs 44.

Ray, from Stark City, paced Drury in homers (10) while batting .316 with 31 RBIs, playing in all 57 games for the first-year Panthers' program that finished with a 20-37 record.

Kelsey Mussleman of Missouri Science and Technology was named the league's Player of the Year, while Coach of the Year honors went to George DiMatteo of Lewis. Kaitlin Colosimo of SIU Edwardsville was named the league's Pitcher of the Year, while Torie Bunzell of Quincy was the Freshman of the Year.

Men's Swim & Dive
Snyder, who helped the Panthers to four straight NCAA-II national swimming and diving championships in his four years at DU, setting several NCAA distance marks along the way, was named the male recipient of the Dr. Edsel Matthews Award for his prowess as a student-athlete and representative of the Drury community.

Women's Tennis

Castrodale, a senior and four-year member of the program, helped Drury claim its third straight Great Lakes Valley Conference women's tennis championship over the weekend in St. Louis.
