Collins Harris/Brandon Kimbrough

Former Drury University basketball standouts Brandon Kimbrough and Collins Harris have signed professional contracts to continue their careers overseas.

Kimbrough will be competing for the Manchester Magic of the English Basketball League Division One for the 2008-09 season, while Harris will head to Germany to play for the Cuxhaven Bascats of the country's Pro A League this fall.

Kimbrough, a 6-foot-2 guard, completed his three-year Drury career in 2006-07, helping the Panthers to two NCAA Division II Tournament appearances. The former Springfield Glendale High School product finished his career ranked 31st on the DU all-time charts in scoring (1,052 points) and sixth in assists (431).

Harris, a 6-foot-5 forward, finished his final season of eligibility last March after leading the Panthers to a third straight NCAA-II tourney berth and their first Great Lakes Valley Conference championship. A three-time First Team All-GLVC selection and the Great Lakes Region Player of the Year, Harris wound up sixth on Drury's all-time scoring charts with 1,910 points. The Jefferson City native was an honorable mention All-America choice by D-II Bulletin.
