DU Women's Golf Finishes Sixth In Arkansas State Classic As Final Round Washed Out

JONESBORO, Ark. - The Drury women's golf squad finished sixth in the Arkansas State Lady Wolves Classic as Tuesday's scheduled final round was washed away by heavy rains.

Drury, ranked No. 7 nationally in the latest NGCA D-II Coaches Poll, shot a 632 total for 36 holes in Monday's opening day of competition at the Jonesboro Country Club, as host ASU won the event with a 612 total as the final results reverted to Monday's scores.

Sophomores Katrina Choate and Aubree Vaughan posted 157 totals and tied for 17th to lead Drury, which concluded the fall portion of its schedule with the event.

Plemmons, a redshirt freshman, registered her first career double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds in just 16 minutes of playing time to help Drury beat Quincy in the GLVC Tournament quarterfinals Sunday at Weiser.
