Drury Men's Tennis Team Wraps up Fall Action at Apache Invitational

TYLER, Texas - The Drury University men's tennis team wrapped up their fall campaign Saturday at the Apache Invitational hosted by Tyler Junior College at the JoAnn Medlock Murphy Tennis Center.

The tournament field of singles consisted of five flights and 80 players and in doubles there were two draws of 40 teams.  Drury sophomore Ivan Marevic advanced to the finals in his draw this afternoon before falling by a score of 6-4,6-2.  Marevic won his first match of the day 6-2,6-4.  Drury senior Alex Kacamakis won his matches 6-4,7-6 and 6-2,6-0 and senior Antonio Garcia Santos lost 6-3,6-2. 

In doubles play Garcia Santos and Kacamakis lost 9-7 and Marevic played unattached doubles matches and won 8-2 and 8-6.

Hopkins also was selected to the all-tournament team after picking up a team-high 41 kills with a .349 attack percentage in helping the Panthers to a 1-3 finish in the Extended Stay Invitational in Anchorage, Alaska, last weekend.
Austin Warren
Volleyball
Warren was named to the all-tournament team after registering 123 assists and 40 digs and helping the Panthers to a 1-3 finish at the Extended Stay Seven Invitational in Anchorage, Alaska.
