LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Third-seeded Bellarmine made a first-half goal stand up for a 1-0 victory over sixth-seeded Drury in the opening round of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Soccer Tournament here on Sunday.

The Knights, in beating Drury for a second time by a 1-0 score this season, improved to 13-2-1 on the season and moved into next weekend's GLVC Tourney semifinals. Drury likely finished the season at 13-6 after being ranked seventh in the most recent NCAA-II Midwest Region rankings, where the top six teams qualify for the NCAA-II Tournament.

Stephanie Wilson scored with a header in the 38th minute for the game's only goal, with Allison Menchak picking up the assist. The Knights out-shot the Panthers 12-9, including 8-2 on goal.
