Williams, Sanderson and West Named To Daktronics All-Midwest Region Women's Soccer Squad

DU junior keeper Jessie Sanderson
Drury standouts Nicole Williams, Jessie Sanderson and Emily West have been named to the Daktronics All-Midwest Region women's soccer squad, the organization announced on Tuesday.

Williams, a sophomore forward who led the Panthers with 11 goals this season, and Sanderson, a junior keeper who posted 11 shutouts in Drury's 13-5-0 campaign, were named to the First Team. West, a junior defender, was a Second Team selection.

Groover, a freshman, captured the high jump at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Indoor Championships in Kenosha, Wis.

Women's Basketball

Plemmons, a redshirt freshman, registered her first career double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds in just 16 minutes of playing time to help Drury beat Quincy in the GLVC Tournament quarterfinals Sunday at Weiser.
