Panthers Drop Swimming Dual To Division I Southern Illinois Men And Women

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Southern Illinois University took a swimming dual from Drury both ways on Thursday, defeating the Panther men 139-104 and the DU women 143-97 here on Thursday.

For the DU men, victories came from Alexander Protsenko in the 100 Back, Jun Han Kim in the 200 IM, freshman Chris Jacobsen in the 1000 Free and as a unit, in the 400 Medley Relay.

Triumphs for the DU women included freshman Molly Brown in the 100 Back, junior Li Tao in the 100 Fly, senior Abbey Musch in the 200 IM and the squad in the 400 Medley Relay.

Both DU squads are now idle until competing in the Mizzou Invitational December 4-6 in Columbia.

Volleyball
Warren was named to the all-tournament team after registering 123 assists and 40 digs and helping the Panthers to a 1-3 finish at the Extended Stay Seven Invitational in Anchorage, Alaska.
Kyrie Hopkins
Volleyball
Hopkins also was selected to the all-tournament team after picking up a team-high 41 kills with a .349 attack percentage in helping the Panthers to a 1-3 finish in the Extended Stay Invitational in Anchorage, Alaska, last weekend.
