Villa Zapatero Finishes 51st At NCAA-II Cross Country Championships

EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Drury junior Jaime Villa Zapatero finished 51st at the NCAA-II Men's Cross Country Championships held here on Saturday.

Villa Zapatero, the two-time defending Great Lakes Valley Conference individual champion who'd been battling the flu most of this week, crossed the line in 32 minutes and 48 seconds. 

Reuben Mwei, a senior from Adams State, won the race in 30:27.8, leading his squad to the team championship as well with 23 points.
