Drury Men Finish Second, Women Fifth at Mizzou Tiger Invite

COLUMBIA, Mo. -  The Drury men's swimming and diving team placed second and the women fifth to wrap up action at the Mizzou Tiger Invite here on Sunday. 

On the men's side Mizzou captured first place with 1,171 points followed by Drury with 868 and Southern Illinois with 566.  DU sophomore Jun Han Kim captured the victory in the 200 breast (2:01.82) and freshman Chris Jacobsen was first in the 1650 free (15:31.86).  Other highlights for the Panther men were a fourth place finish in the 100 free by Carlos Viveros and a second place in the 400 free relay (3:03.21).

On the women's side Mizzou finished first (1109.5), Arizona State was second (839) followed by Nebraska (585), Boise State (514) and Drury (343).  Drury's Abbey Musch claimed fourth place in the 200 breast (2:19.00).

Both DU squads return to action by hosting Missouri State at Breech Pool on January 22 at 5 p.m.

Austin Warren
Volleyball
Warren was named to the all-tournament team after registering 123 assists and 40 digs and helping the Panthers to a 1-3 finish at the Extended Stay Seven Invitational in Anchorage, Alaska.
Kyrie Hopkins
Volleyball
Hopkins also was selected to the all-tournament team after picking up a team-high 41 kills with a .349 attack percentage in helping the Panthers to a 1-3 finish in the Extended Stay Invitational in Anchorage, Alaska, last weekend.
