Drury junior-to-be baseball standout R.J. Knese has been named to the Hawaii Collegiate Baseball League All-Star Team.

Knese, who is catching and playing the outfield for the Waimea Waves, will participate in the league's all-star game coming up on Saturday, July 4 as a result. Knese is batting .333 (16 for 48) with 10 runs scores, five doubles (fourth in the league), six RBIs and five stolen bases for  the Waves, who lead the league with a 12-4 record.

Drury senior-to-be shortstop Joe Rohlfing was batting .350 (14 for 40) with a home run and three RBIs for the Waves early on, but has returned early to Springfield to rehabilitate a minor shoulder injury.

Knese and Rohlfing are among the top returnees in 2009-2010 for the baseball Panthers, who are coming off a 26-24 campaign in their third season of NCAA-II competition.
