One of the primary annual fundraisers for women's college athletics programs at Drury, Missouri State and Evangel is coming up on Saturday, April 24 when the fourth annual Bee Payne-Stewart Strut hits the streets of Springfield.
The event, which also benefits the youth programs of the Springfield-Greene County Park Board and WIN for Springfield, begins with check-in at 9 a.m. in front of the Mediacom Ice Park in downtown Springfield. The welcome and announcements begin at 9:30, with the walk to start at 10 a.m.
There will be special prizes for those who turn in their $25 donation fee by the April 16 deadline. Fans are encouraged to go on-line and donate to their favorite team or local sports program - including all of the Drury women's sports squads - by clicking the drop-down menu of participants located at the events official website

Bee Payne-Stewart was a passionate supporter for women in leadership and sports. She was the first woman president of the Springfield-Greene County Park Board and a financial supporter for many women's athletics needs in Springfield. WIN is excited to keep Bee's passion alive through this unique community event.
