The Drury men's and women's swimming and diving NCAA-II national championship squads will be honored on Monday, April 19 with a parade, ice cream social and autographing party on the DU campus.

The parade will begin at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Cox Medical Center North, continue south down Jefferson Street to Bob Barker Boulevard, where it will make its way east before heading north up Drury Lane and into the heart of the campus, finishing in front of the Findlay Student Center. The Central High School Kilties will also accompany the Drury squads along the parade route.

The team will be honored in the circle drive in front of the FSC with a brief ceremony, followed by ice cream and an autographing party with fellow students, faculty and fans as the DU swimmers and divers will be available to sign the new commemorative "2010 National Champions" poster produced for the event.

Coach Brian Reynolds' Drury men's squad won its sixth consecutive national title, while his DU women won their second straight and third in the last four seasons last month in Canton, Ohio, becoming the first D-II school in history to sweep the championships in back-to-back seasons.

Drury now has won eight men's NCAA-II titles and seven on the women's side since making the move to the NCAA level in 1994-95.
