Lady Panther basketball fans can make plans now to tee it up on September 12 at the Deer Lake Golf Club, when the third annual Lady Panthers Golf Tournament will take place.
The annual fundraiser for the Drury women's basketball program will again feature a four-person scramble format with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. The event will conclude with a post-tourney dinner, with the meal provided by Rib Crib, for the contestants, who will get their first opportunity to meet the 2010-11 Lady Panthers basketball squad.
Cost is $400 per team and includes greens fees, cart, prizes and the dinner. There will also be a pre-tournament putting contest as well as in-tourney competitions including closest-to-the-pin and longest drive. Members of the Lady Panthers team will serve as "extra putters" on several holes.
