KIRKSVILLE – Fourth seeded Truman State scored with 11 minutes left in the game (78:59) to defeat the Drury women's soccer team 1-0 in the opening round of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament at Bulldog Soccer Park on Sunday.
Drury, the No. 5 seed, finishes the 2014 campaign with a 10-5-3 record and they were 8-4-3 in the GLVC. Truman State improved to 13-4-2 overall and they were 10-3-2 this season in the GLVC.
Megan Oostendorp netted a goal at 78:59 assisted by Allison Lockett for the game winner for the Bulldogs.

Tina Haberberger tallied six saves and Katie Mattingly recorded two saves for the Bulldogs. Truman State outshot the Panthers 12-7.
