Lady Panthers ranked 11th in WBCA / NCAA-II poll

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The first WBCA / NCAA-II coaches' poll of the regular season has the Drury Lady Panthers ranked 11th in the country. Drury is 3-1 and coming off of an 80-53 win at home over Missouri Western.
 
Ashland, the defending national champion, is ranked first in this week's poll followed by Alaska Anchorage in second and Bentley is ranked third.
 
Drury is the only team from the Great Lakes Valley Conference ranked. Southern Indiana received votes but is outside the top 25.
 
The Lady Panthers are at the O'Reilly Family Event Center this weekend hosting the Oasis Hotel & Convention Center Thanksgiving Classic. Drury takes on Arkansas-Fort Smith on Friday at 5:30 p.m. and Union (Tenn.) at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is free on Friday to both the men's and women's games in the event.
